PUSHCART PRIZE NOMINEES 2020

With the publication of Issue III, Volume 1 of Delta Poetry Review, we are honored to have published so many wonderful poems. As announced in our inaugural issue, DPR will nominate poetry for recognition beyond the pages of our journal. We are so pleased to submit the following nominees and their poems for consideration by The Pushcart Prize committee. We received many fine poems equally deserving. Naturally, we wanted to nominate them all, but nominations are limited to five each year. With very special recognition, we nominated:

 Allison Joseph                         “Singing for Karma”

David Armand                         “The Stoop”

Susan Swartwout                     “Louisiana Ladies’ Watermelon Tea – 1890”

Cody Smith                              “Just Music”

Philip Kolin                            “The Blues Bus”

Congratulations for all nominees!

SPECIAL THANKS to VICTORIA OLSEN, Co-editor and Webmaster

So much goes on behind the scenes in producing an online literary journal. Someone must take charge of the web page, someone with superior computer skills and knowledge—and the creativity to design everything from the cover art to layout. A very special thanks to Victoria Olsen, who brings many talents and skills to this ambitious endeavor. I am fortunate to share this labor of love with this wonderful and talented person

BEST OF THE NET ANTHOLOGY NOMINATIONS 2020

Beginning with Issue I, Volume 2, Delta Poetry Review will nominate the allowable number of poets and poems annually to Best of the Net Anthology. We encourage all poets to consider submitting their poetry for review—no matter the stage of their writing development.
