Annually, DELTA POETRY REVIEW proudly nominates
poetry for
The
Pushcart Prize & Best
of the Net
All work must be original, previously unpublished, and
in English.
We accept submissions year-round and publish selected
work in three issues per year: February, June, and
October. Our February and June issues will be "Open
Topic." We welcome poetry with or without a Delta or
Southern focus.
The theme for October issues will be the South in general.
We especially encourage poetry about the Delta.
We prefer poetry that has both mainstream and literary
appeal.
We do not publish poetry containing racist, sexist,
misogynist, or hate language.
We assume that all submissions are simultaneous. Please
let us know if your work has been accepted elsewhere as
quickly as possible.
There is no submission fee. We are not a paying
market.
Please wait until you have heard back from one
submission before sending another.
Delta Poetry Review accepts work for nonexclusive
appearance and archiving on its website and asks only
for first publication rights. Authors retain
all rights after publication.
